She has a blended-professional background in integrated strategic communication specializing in design, copywriting, branding, omnichannel marketing and print/digital publication design, using latest applied technologies, including generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), for national and local clients. She brings an enthusiasm for new challenges and innovative approaches to strategies, creative executions and design.

In addition, Karolyn has taught at the University of Texas at El Paso, University of Missouri and University of New Mexico. She received UNM’s Outstanding Lecturer of the Year Award, is a Society for News Design Gold Award winner and the creative director and designer of the book "At Heart” by Susan Ager.

Karolyn is a past-president the American Advertising Federation-New Mexico and is an AchieveGlobal certified trainer. She enjoys hiking in the mountains, running, cooking Italian family recipes, reading and listening to music, especially classic rock. Karolyn lives in New Mexico, with her husband, Todd, and kitties, Chesney and Kato.
